Blood of Mercy was written as a song of repentance that is fairly self-explanatory. It was a cry to God similar to the statement of Paul, “What I want to do I don’t do, what I do I don’t want to do.” It is saying, “Lord, you know what I want, but you also know what I end up doing. I need your grace to forgive me and your mercy to free me.
